Going Deeper Link – Step 6 Why should you care what Jesus is doing with His Church?

For example, if you take a sample of HisStory being the 7 churches in Revelation 2:1-3:22 you will find “churches” who are obviously called by God to be His Church but at least 6 of the 7 had Problems and some had serious Problems that if not corrected by “repentance” they would suffer some form of Judgment from Jesus the King of Heaven and Head of His Church.

So, whether it is God’s perspective of His People the Jews (see 1 Samuel 8:6-8) or Christians (Galatians 1:6-10; 4:21-5:18; 2 Corinthians 11:2-4) there is this love/hate or obedience/rebellion struggle as seen throughout all of HisStory.

From my own study of the HisStory of “sin” I have found many distracting topics filling the debates inside Jesus’ Church that no doubt come from Jesus’ enemies or opposition much like some opposition party in American politics.

Read Paul’s letter to Timothy in 1Timothy for an example of what I mean. 

They purposefully oppose the foundational questions that should be the REAL FOCUS of some of the most important topic areas of our Faith and in doing so they end up OPPOSING the Head of His Church and the “fruit” coming out of their lives proves they “advocate(s) a different doctrine, and does not agree with the sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine of conforming to godliness” (1 Timothy 6:3-5).

At some point Jesus views OPPOSITION to Him as “lawlessness” in His Kingdom.

“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.” (1 John 3:4)

With Adam and Eve it was immediately Judged by God Himself with separation and “death”.

How does Jesus Judge His Church?

Without a doubt I have seen Him “slow to anger” and “slow” to Judge because of His great grace and love for His Church and His People the Jews as well.

But at some point if we “put God to the test” as Jesus put it we could find ourselves shut out of His Kingdom. And this time it won’t be just some Christian shutting you out of “fellowship” of their “church” or some Jewish group shutting you out of some synagogue (John 9:34) it will be Jesus Himself shutting you out of His Kingdom (Matthew 7:21-23).

By the way, you might just be amazed at how many people living in the world with little to no “church as usual” experience or practice are living “right” with Jesus from His “first place in everything” perspective.

This is Jesus’ Church outside traditional Christianity abiding in Jesus’ Gift by His Spirit by faith in the unchanging love, grace and forgiveness who are LITERAL RECEIVERS of His Kingdom and His Gift while over half of American Christians choose not to LITERALLY care what Jesus is doing with His Church today by His Holy Spirit (see Barna Group Study, 2009).

You will see me reference this Study of American Christians throughout this Guest Website because it is my job (my specific calling from Jesus) to point it out to His Church based on my own revelations such as Micah 7 (explained in Step 5).

My point is that if you have been KICKED OUT of some American Church for seeking to be part of what Jesus is doing with His Church He is leading by His Spirit know that chances are good (I obviously don’t know for certain in your case) you can be happy to be OUT because many Christians have long ago KICKED OUT Jesus out of their “church as usual” too and failed their John 6 Test in order to start their own Religion without Him.

I believe that if we can immediately repent or RETURN to the “sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ” that we will THEN begin to find His Way Out of all of our Problems with God and subsequently with each other too.

For example, if we want to truly find the answers regarding “sin” we have to first ask the most important questions.

For example, the first real question becomes obvious:

“Who are people REALLY ‘sinning’ against in their definition of the “sin” and what are the words of God and commands used to define the Problem with God to begin with?”

Are we merely “sinning” against Pastor _____ or Leader _______ or Doctrine ________ or …. any number of other so-called “sources” of our “sin” or are we REALLY “sinning” against God?

I get it that at times when we do certain “sins” toward other people, like Paul did toward the new disciples of “the Way” (the first name for Christians following Jesus as His Way Out of all their Problems with God) that from His perspective they were really doing it to Jesus (Acts 9:1-5).

What I mean is that some Christians are in the dangerous practice of putting their opinions or assumptions of “sin” on other Christians even as King Jesus by His Spirit is NOT convicting them of any “sin” at all.

This false accusation toward Jesus happened all the time and it can also be expected to happen to us as His disciples too. I currently deal with this using three Bible references that explain my Jesus “first place in everything” point regarding judging the “sin” of others and you can read 1 Corinthians 4:1-5, Romans 14:4 and the entire chapter of Romans 14 to start your own Conversation with God about “sin”.

But let nobody be deceived, the ONE Person who both defines “sin” and forgives “sin” and Judges “sin” is the King of Heaven, God Himself, and nobody else first. He promised to reveal it to you if you can humble yourself to acknowledge you need His Help (John 16:7-15).

Did you even know there was a DIFFERENCE to discern a “first place in everything” role God has in your life (Galatians 1:6-10; 2 Corinthians 11:2-4)?

If not, you probably never had the revelation of Jesus’ “first place in everything” in Colossians 1:13-18.

You may still think “sin” has everything to do with you first or what some human or even what you think it means first. Nope.

It’s all about Jesus’ “first place in everything” view of it every time (Matthew 4:1-11).

Again, there are so many conflicting sources and definitions of “sin” used in Christianity today but we can be encouraged that there is only ONE SOURCE for the TRUTH about anything of everything (1 John 2:26-27).

I help you maintain that “simplicity of devotion to Christ” that keeps you on the right track and not some false track regarding “sin” in your life (2 Corinthians 11:2-4). 

We all NEED the Helper or Person of Truth sent by the Father and Jesus to lead us to the right version. The Good News is that Jesus already did do exactly that by sending us His Spirit “anointing” as our Helper in John 16:7-15 and explained by John in 1 John 2:26-27.

One could even say that it is the Primary Mission of the Holy Spirit to Help you and I get it “right” on His terms first regarding “sin, righteousness and judgment” (John 16:7-15).

But if Christians refuse to RECEIVE Him as a literal part of Jesus’ Gift to us from Heaven (D2) then those Christians ARE ON THEIR OWN without His Helper.

It’s just that simple.

I mean just like the concept of “unity of the Spirit” in Ephesians 4:3 is something only God Personally/Directly Himself can pull off successfully, I believe the concept of sharing “truth” has to ultimately come from God Himself DIRECT to us “And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth” or we just might fail in our pursuit of it in our lives (John 4:23-24; 8:31-58; 9:34-41; 10:1-30; 16:7-15; 17:1-26; 18:33-38; 20:20-29; 2 Corinthians 11:2-4).

Don’t lose sight of or faith in what only God Himself can do that we have absolutely no ability or power to do without God (Matthew 19:26).

Just like 1 Timothy 6:3-5 explains and also what Jesus first declared in John 8:31-58, when we get distracted by the OPPOSITION to the Spirit of God by enemies of God (Philippians 3:17-21; 2:4; 2:21) attempting to get us (if allowed by us) to LEAVE the “sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ” and “every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” by His Spirit first … then in the Bible second as a faithful reference to confirm what His Spirit is saying … then we are heading down the path of something like an OPPOSITION PARTY in the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Timothy 5:24-25; 1 Corinthians 4:1-5; Philippians 2:19-21; 3:17-21).

I believe it should be obvious that Jesus’ Church He is leading from Heaven, though filled with the worst sinners in the world now “saved by grace”, should also be taught at least enough from God what it means to “repent … and bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance” and “The one who says, ‘I have come to know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; …” (Matthew 3:2-8; John 16:7-15; 1 John 1:5-2:6).

Although we are all imperfect former “sinners” I believe that we can all learn to be forgiven our “sin” and “lawlessness” practices.

I believe we can LEARN from Jesus what it even means to be for and not against Him 100% in devotion at any time. I believe we can do it immediately by His Gift of forgiveness and our own declaration of loyalty to His Kingdom and rule of His Church (Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:19-21; 3:17-21).

It should also be obvious that Jesus’ Church He is leading from His Kingdom of Heaven by His Spirit should NOT be considered an Opposition Party to Him and His “first place in everything” Leadership  in His Church (Matthew 23:8-12; Colossians 1:13-18).

I teach you how to be part of Jesus’ Church that stops protecting the “opposing views” of “truth” that at their source are really “lawlessness” and not “righteousness” (John 16:7-15; Matthew 4:1-11; John 8:31-58; 1 John 4:1).

In short, I teach you “the sound words of Jesus” like one of my favorite and most practically useful messages He taught,

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

The Problem is too often that Christians today still believe Jesus should be like them: in our modern society that means a “church” Democracy ruled by the People.

If the people rule then who rules His Church?

They might even indirectly or directly believe Jesus should be ELECTED as THEIR REPRESENTATIVE in their Religious “kingdom” they have created around God and in His name.

They certainly vote on “doctrines” of “truth” apart from the literal Holy Spirit of Truth confirming it and that is a Problem from Jesus’ perspective (Matthew 15:1-20; 12:22-37).

But King Jesus is not like you or me or any human.

He is not of this world (John 17:1-26).

Jesus declared that His disciples are also “not of the world, even as I am not of the world” (John 17:14).

His Church is not a Democracy but an absolute Kingdom of Heaven with ABSOLUTELY NO OPPOSITION party allowed.

There is no “loyal opposition” in His Kingdom.

Satan and his former Angels, now fallen demons, know this quite well as well as anyone loving the “darkness” of “lawlessness” more than the “light” of Jesus’ Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 8:28-34; John 3:16-21).

This same topic was covered by John in 1 John 3:1-3 and Jesus in Luke 6:39-40.

Bottom line is that one “Christian” following some “blind guide” will himself or herself be “blind” with them and “both will fall into a pit” (Luke 6:39).

Then there are those who have learned to follow Jesus as THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SEE PERFECTLY and LEAD OTHERS TO SEE AS HE SEES as their brand new “way, truth and life”.

At the end of their journey on earth with Jesus the ONE Who can “see” “on earth as it is in heaven” they will be like their Master because walking following Him “first place in everything” is like having the “light of the world” shining Truth from Heaven in a dark world (John 14:6-7; Luke 6:40; 1 John 1:5-2:6).

The telling of HisStory (His Gospel) or communicating Truth to anyone is also something He alone gets to do Personally by His Spirit (1 John 2:26-27).

To some degree, this is how God set it up with His people the Jews to Talk with them through His Prophets before they too “rejected” Him Personally as King and ruler of them in favor of some earthly “king” and earthly system of government (1 Samuel 8:6-8).

Do you see throughout your own life and the HisStory of all Humans this love/hate relationship with the Person of Truth?

I mean Truth is a Person (God) who tells us His FULL version of the rest of the story about anything of everything when others will not or cannot tell us.

The quicker we can meet Personally with this Person the BETTER OFF we will be!

Jesus will give you the CONTEXT for understanding His Church which almost always STARTS with what John used to explain the CONTEXT:

“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.” (1 John 3:4)

I get it. The concept of “sin” is too difficult to explain in the midst of a Christian faith that is full of TOO MANY DEFINITIONS that are no longer useful.

But do you also get it that the concept of “lawlessness” is NOT TOO DIFFICULT to understand if we are willing to take Jesus at His Word regarding HisStory?

In HisStory there is only ONE God and ONE King of Heaven even as there are multitudes of “kings” ruling their own “Christian” Religions here on earth.

I recommend immediately getting your eyes OFF of these earthly “kings” and to put them “first place in everything” on the ONE King of Heaven who will tell you His version of Truth about anything of everything whenever you need it by His Spirit of Truth Person (John 16:7-15; 1 John 2:26-27).

This RETURN to a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus by His Spirit is a foundational reason we all need to know what Jesus is Personally doing in His Church TODAY.

My 5 Practice Pillars of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that you will learn at Pokyra Services is what I know without a doubt Jesus is doing RIGHT NOW with His Church.

This easy to learn teaching begins with Jesus’ “first place in everything” role in your life and then moves out from there to any other topic surrounding what He is doing with His Church.

How much is EVERYTHING? 

I get it that what He is doing with His Church as “first place in everything” Leader won’t be received perfectly ANY OTHER WAY THAN AS A “GIFT” to “abide” in every day.

I call it the EQUATION of “first place in everything” which is always 100% for Jesus = 0% for the Rebellion.

I believe we all need to get a similar declaration going in our daily life that resembles Paul’s declaration of his 100% devotion for Jesus and 0% for the Rebellion:

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me. I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.” (Galatians 2:20-21)

Get your own version or copy part or all of Paul’s declaration.

I like to call this the Atom Bomb Prayer. It receives Jesus’ Gift (D2) from Heaven to forgive ALL your sins like a completely devastating BOMB from God to destroy our “sin” and the works of the Devil (1 John 3:4-10). The BOMB Gift from Jesus destroys your “sin” even as it helps you forgive everyone too (Matthew 6:8-15).

Just make sure it is sincere and from your heart and you will do well!

I certainly get that foundational “first place in everything” EQUATION part of Jesus’ Gospel that you should receive right away too.

But know that His Gift of forgiveness of “sin” does not excuse the “lawlessness” in our life right now “on earth as it is in heaven” or when we die and see Him face to face in Heaven as it is in Heaven (Romans 6:1-23).

We who have received Jesus’ Gift (D2) to NOW live “on earth as it is in heaven” (earthly dimension D3 and Heavenly D1 at the same time) have a Mission to “grow up in all aspects into Christ” (Ephesians 4:15; Philippians 3:1-21).

That practically means learning one “thing” after another “thing” from our “first place in everything” Master growing up into a true “citizen” of Heaven reality including learning what Jesus meant, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

Picture the King of Heaven sitting on His throne (go to Revelation 1:8-20 if you needs some Help).

He suddenly opens His mouth.

All creation listens and OBEYS His words.

That’s how life is lived in Heaven.

It is NOW what Jesus is doing with His Church TODAY “on earth as it is in heaven”! 

It is a BRAND NEW LIFE of each day in and day out learning from Jesus our Master and Primary Model for a “Christian” how it all works (1 John 2:3-6).

It is “abiding” in Him at all times applying His GRACE and TRUTH EQUATION of 100% for Jesus and 0% for the Devil and his Rebellion as the requirement to receive His Gift.

The way I am framing “sin” and His Way Out too should help you both practically on earth regarding how you live and practice your life and spiritually on earth as you practice what Jesus taught us all to pray multi-dimensionally, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” … clearly as it is in Heaven RIGHT NOW and not some future time … living “not by bread alone but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” by His Spirit DIRECT to your spirit inside you (1 John 2:26-27; John 16:7-15).

I am certainly not the only one TODAY who frames it this way but maybe it is new to you. How did you learn Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:2-4)?

Again, listen to the simplicity of this definition of “sin” offered by John that wonderfully and simply explains Jesus’ Gospel:

“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.” (1 John 3:4)

That is the simple definition of “sin” as Jesus and John and all of the rest of those who shared Jesus’ Gospel explained it within the CONTEXT of God’s literal “first place in everything” rule of His Kingdom of Heaven (D1) and a Rebellion in His Kingdom called “lawlessness” (breaking God’s Laws and words of His Kingdom).

Without “getting” this foundational part of Jesus’ Gospel you will likely completely miss out on His Primary Mission to earth still going on today by His Spirit (John 16:7-15) and the foundation of our faith too.

This Step 6 is meant to reinforce the absolute SERIOUSNESS of why we should care what He is doing with His Church today.
