Going Deeper Link – Step 5 Why Is Kehrt Doing This?

Let me share briefly here in Step 5 how Jesus spoke to me in my Hotel room in the 1980’s about a Problem He has with His Church.

You can bet that if it is a Problem God has with His Church that it no doubt has something to do with His “first place in everything” highest position in His Church. Start there to understand it. 

It includes the foundational “revelation” that no doubt got me going in the direction I have gone so far in my life that has resulted in Pokyra Services being offered to you today.

I share a bit about how my journey as His disciple for 30 plus years has prepared me to NOW (as God is directing by His Spirit) to help others from His Church to also overcome their own Practice and Fruit Problem. Pokyra Services are for anyone having “ears to hear what the Spirit says to the churches” making up His ONE Church and specifically each member’s own top 5 Priority Area relationships in their life.

So, here I was in my Hotel room in Pismo Beach, California, in I believe 1986 (possibly 1987).

The context for me even being at the Hotel was that I was attending a seminar taught by my Pastor, Joseph Goodwin (his church was one of the first … I believe it was the 6th … planted in the Vineyard Movement in the early 1980’s).

Joseph was teaching us to pray the famous Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:8-15. We would learn something from the prayer and then go back to our room to pray it like an outline and not just the repeating of it in 10 seconds like most of us normally do at some gathering or event.

I was going deeper into how Jesus taught us to pray and it should not have shocked me that He would actually TALK TO ME as I prayed like Jesus prayed to the Father and His Father obviously talked back and forth with Him while He was on the earth. 

But I have to be honest … it surprised me (in a good way) to hear His near audible or actual audible voice (I still am not sure what that means).

He first gave me a vision and then said, “This is My Church.”

He then said, “Micah 7” and I immediately turned to it without even knowing there was even a Micah in the Bible let alone where it was in the Bible.

When I opened my Bible also immediately to Micah 7 I knew it was a REAL VOICE from God that what I was in that moment going to learn from Him was something important about His Church … and that was pretty AWESOME!

Like I said, I was pleasantly SURPRISED by His near audible voice.

What I mean is that the way He normally communicates to me by His Spirit is a “revelation” or “knowing” of something that I either did not “know” before (like a “word of knowledge”) or a confirmation of some “witness” that what I already knew about (maybe reading about it in the Bible, for example) was actually confirmed by God Himself (1 John 5:7,9; 2:26-27).

If I have learned anything from 30 years of hearing God speak to me and hearing testimonies of other Christians and their own Talks With God is that God has “varieties” of ways He communicates to anyone on earth from His ONE and the SAME Holy Spirit sent from Heaven (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).

We may share some of the “varieties” of ways but don’t be surprised if His Spirit communicates with you in some ways different than others.

What I experienced in that Hotel room was not just a “knowing” but an actual voice speaking that I was immediately aware as being Jesus.

How does one know which voice is from Jesus and what is from some other spirit? Practice, practice, practice (Hebrews 5:11-14; 1 Corinthians 2:5-16; 1 John 4:1).

I explain this visitation from Jesus in more detail elsewhere, but know that He spoke in the First-Person to me about His own Church at a time in my life when I had almost no knowledge of what that meant.

I was a relatively new disciple. I personally had NO PROBLEM with His Church and did not even know He had a problem before He spoke to me.

But evidently He did back then and He has made it clear to me that He still does today.

What did He specifically reveal to me about Micah 7 that got me pointed in the direction I have lived for over 30 years? He revealed to me a serious “fruit” Problem He has with His Church explained by referencing Micah 7:1-6 (the bad news) and 7:7-20 (the good news).

Read these passages from Micah 7 on your own. His same Personal challenge using Micah 7 was given to me again in 2009 by another visitation.

By the way, if you are interested, read Matthew 10:35-36 where Jesus actually quotes something from Micah 7. It’s something I learned much later in my journey started in that Hotel room with Jesus but it proves to me that He was already at work with His Church by His Spirit before I learned what He was doing (and still continues to do today) and all we get to do is join what He is already doing if we “have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches”.

Again, why am I doing this Pokyra Services business?

Answer:  I am Problem Solving with Jesus by His Spirit Our Part to Play in ultimately receiving His Part to Play regarding the Practice Problem and Fruit Problem in His Church.

In my journey of Problem Solving the Practice and Fruit Problems I have learned many lessons from Jesus in 3 easy to explain dimensions that Jesus walked in for our benefit:

• His Kingdom (D1),
• His Gift (D2) and
• Earthly life (D3)

So, my offerings to you from Pokyra Services not only have practical spiritual lessons learned from His Kingdom and Gift but also practical “normal” “living life” on earth lessons as well.

To solve any problem in 3D includes removing obstacles or hindrances to ultimately RECEIVING anything “on earth as it is in heaven” as Jesus received for Himself from the Father in Heaven.

My Projects, Products and Services at Pokyra Services reflect My Life In 3D and the goal is to inspire you and your own Your Life In 3D with Jesus and to help you overcome your own Practice and Fruit Problems in your “part” of His Church.

I believe this message of Jesus helping you remove obstacles in your life relates directly to the Ephesians 5:13-17 message of Paul that I use to help explain what I mean by the term Revival in His Church. 

Paul shares the following toward the end of his message, “So, then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:17).

There are at times many obstacles spiritual and natural trying to STOP what Jesus came to our World to establish FOR US called RECEIVING the “will of God” that we would be “foolish” to neglect or reject in daily practice as our Master taught us in Matthew 6:8-15.

This is a “will of God” REVIVAL at work in your life by His Spirit (see also Jesus’ Parable of the Sower – Matthew 13).

How important is the practice of seeking and receiving the “will of God” for your life?

Consider how just knowing Jesus’ view of His own Church in Micah 7 impacts “the will of God” you already know about regarding His Church and your own part to play in it.

The answer of how important it is reveals a large part of the reason I am even doing Pokyra Services.

To me the message of Micah 7 that I received from Jesus in that Hotel room was so IMPORTANT to my own Life Mission from God and now My Mission to You at Pokyra Services that it was always from the very beginning to even right now something precious in my heart.

It was and remains a foundational part of my Teaching about His Church given to me from God who has “first place in everything” in His Church that is “… delivered … from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son …” (Colossians 1:13-18).

I have read many books and I have been to many seminars of Christians telling me what they think of His Church. I have certainly benefited greatly from much of these teachings.

But when the Head of His Church speaks about anything to His own Church He is leading “first place in everything” IN PERSON by His Spirit it should be obvious that His Words and His perspective puts everything any of us say into the right perspective.

How important is His right perspective to you?

There is no measure to the importance and this is how I begin to explain the importance the revealed “will of My Father who is in heaven” really is to God and should be to us too (Matthew 7:21).

It’s what Jesus came to do for us. It was His mission and remains the ministry mission of the Holy Spirit Jesus gave to Him to pass on to us as well (John 16:7-15).

I knew right away that my life mission during the 1980’s, 1990’s and much of the 2000’s was NOT immediately to go out and start telling people how unhappy God was with His Church … as He revealed it to me.

I certainly heard many others share those type of “God is NOT happy with YOU Christians” messages throughout the years but God never let me do it.

No, I knew the right response at least for my own calling was to simply Talk With God about what He was already doing and what He will be doing with HIs Church according to “His will” for His Church.

No doubt to share the Problem before having enough of the Solution ready to serve people would have been not very helpful at all.

It’s often not hard at all to see faults or problems with anyone or anything.

What is harder is to be part of God’s Solution with both grace and truth working together at the same time.

But I believe the main reason He did not lead me to start “preaching” or exposing the Problems is mostly all about His perfect timing.

Before 2009 only a handful of people even knew about my visitation from Jesus about His Church and it was kep “secret” for the same reasons Jesus gave us all in 6:1-34.

But NOW He has commanded me to obey Him in sharing what I have learned so far to serve His Church. The timing of sharing it has everything to do with how I have received “the will of My Father who is in heaven” just as Jesus taught me to receive in its right TIME.

I am serving His Church for these Last Days we live in even now and will live in for some amount of time into the future that only the Father knows about for certain (Mark 13:1-37; John 14:11-21; John 16:7-15).

But even though some things in life are uncertain we get the great honor of “abiding” in Him without fear as we learn to “discern” with His Helper at all times regarding each season, each month, each week and each day of our life. That’s WHY I am doing Pokyra Services!

What I have to offer you at Pokyra Services is NOT a resource to answer ALL Your Life In 3D questions.

But I do answer some foundational questions and some other insights learned so far in my journey. What you can expect is that Pokyra Services will give you some of the most effective earthly Tools I have successfully used for my own Life In 3D as well as some key Skills and some helpful Context in 3D to serve your own Talk With God.

Only Jesus has your specific answers to Who, What, When, Why and How … the “will of God” is for your life.

Again, where did this specific vision about His church come from?

Answer: Jesus Himself telling me Personally His version of HisStory and His own perspective of His Church He is still leading “first place in everything” whether Christians dishonoring Him second place or worse join Him and follow Him by His Spirit or not (Colossians 1:13-18).

HisStory driving MyStory about His Church has been revealed to me in parts and pieces like Paul explained in 1 Corinthians 13:9-12 (Galatians 1:11-12; Ephesians 3:1-5:17).

If you are familiar with that Bible passage of 1 Corinthians 13:9-12 know that I interpret it in light of 1 John 3:1-3 where one day “when He appears, we shall be like Him just as He is” and that explains when “the partial will be done away” “when the perfect comes” (the “perfect comes” refers to Jesus’ second coming).

Some Christians interpret “when the perfect comes” to be the Bible.

I believe that is a false teaching and that we have “spiritual gifts” still TODAY helping us to learn from Jesus Personally by His Holy Spirit UNTIL He comes again as 1 John 3:1-3 makes clear (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).

I don’t claim to have all the “parts” offered to me by the “spiritual gifts” Jesus gave to me as His disciple, but I do know enough about the foundational parts and enough about His mystery for His Church Paul referred to as “the mystery of Christ” (Ephesians 3:3-5:17) to serve you as you learn your own “part” to play in what’s ALWAYS been HisStory first.

Historians don’t always like to view history as being HisStory first but of course from His Perspective it truly is no matter what other Christians or University Professors are teaching in their worldviews.

You and I and anyone else may certainly have a small “part” to play in HisStory (I like to call it Our Part to Play) but too many normally focus on their own part as more important than His Part to Play or at least equal to it which is just as problematic.

I believe it’s truly AWESOME to be allowed by God the Creator and Author of HisStory and all of its many “parts” to be honored to be just one small but important “part” of what He is still doing on the earth in 3D TODAY (see Step 6 for more on HisStory)!

Don’t misunderstand me. I believe your part is important!

Why? Because God Himself says we are important to Him and what He is still doing with His Church through each individual “member” of His “body” on the earth today is obviously important to Him.

I just don’t think you or I are ever more important than Him and His most important Part to Play in His “body”. How important is the Head (Colossians 1:18)? Enough said!

What has been interesting for me to discover during my journey is that as I am growing and maturing in Jesus as a member of His Church, I don’t normally even ask God the “why?” questions to Him anymore.

I especially don’t ask Him “why?” questions about His Church.

I mostly just focus on the “what?” questions like, “What are You doing?”

As far as my Talk With God is concerned, this approach has dramatically IMPROVED my Conversations about anything and the amount of wasted time spent on trying to figure everything out before I would DO ANYTHING has been reduced dramatically and in discernible ways.

This practically means I don’t have to have all the answers about “why” things are in life to be a faithful servant and disciple of my Master.

It is one of the key reasons I take a 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 approach to you and other Christians where what I SPECIFICALLY think about anything or you or anyone else is “a very small thing” compared to what Jesus thinks which is BIG and always more important (Romans 14:4).

I just have to take whatever I receive from Him as His “will” for me and obey Him as I trust other Christians are doing the same in their own Talk With God (John 21:20-22).

I guess this discussion helps explain “Why is Kehrt doing this” Step 5 question because it really has NOT been a journey of asking Him “why” He is doing anything with His own Church.

You will, of course, get some answers to certain “why” ANSWERS that He has revealed to me but these were normally answers given to me as “revelations” from His instigation and I sort of had to play the Jeopardy Game with the answer by asking the question in response, “What is the Fruit and Practice Problem with Your Church?“

You should expect from me mostly just the pieces and parts explaining mostly “What” questions I have been asking Him surrounding His own Church.

I mean His Church He is still Leading and still Teaching in 3D even today and not necessarily your “church” as usual that may or may not be joining Him today by His Spirit and what He is doing with His Church in 3D and not just some 1D Religious replacement (John 5:17-23; Matthew 6:8-15; Colossians 1:13-18).

As far as my own calling in His Church goes, I have already received many of my foundational answers from God regarding the “Why” His Church is like it is because He answered it for me before I even knew there was a Problem with His Church.

One important answer was in the form of “Micah 7” as I just shared.

But most of His answers revealed to me directly from Him are found within 5 Practice Pillars.

I have learned most of what I have RECEIVED from these 5 Practice Pillars and I continue to learn from them every day like the DEEPEST well or direction to “dig” for Gold with God.

I teach you those foundational truths as I have learned them and practice them for myself in obedience to Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20.

I know His Church has Problems. You likely know His Church has Problems if you have been a Christian for any length of time.

We’ve all got Problems in life.

That’s not even a question.

The real question is how committed we are to Him and His Way Out of all our Problems Big and small and if our commitment includes His requirement to “abide” in Him until each Promised Land from His Part to Play is ultimately RECEIVED in each Problem Solving process.

So, when you hear me reference Jesus and His Church throughout Pokyra Services know that much of what you see is a result of that Micah 7 direct message from Jesus in my Hotel Room over 30 years ago.

I am still on that journey with Jesus to try to be relevant to what He is even now doing with His Church TODAY and I pass on some important lessons to you throughout my Pokyra Services.
